Who We Are & Who We Need

Technology is changing fast. AI is changing even faster.

At EndTAB, we help people understand how these changes affect relationships and safety, turning complicated issues into clear, practical guidance. Our work covers technology-facilitated stalking and abuse, image-based abuse, emerging AI tech, and healthy relationships online.

We’re looking for a Senior Training Specialist who is, first and foremost, an educator. Someone who loves learning, connects with people, makes complex subjects accessible, and navigates difficult conversations with care.

What You’ll Do

(1) Connect. Communicate. Educate.

You’ll begin by learning EndTAB’s existing trainings and our approach to education. Then, you’ll lead virtual and in-person workshops, webinars, community and student presentations, and conference sessions.

Audiences include violence prevention and response professionals, university staff, community organizations, students, law enforcement, and court staff.

You will:

  • Adapt your delivery to each audience while preserving the material’s accuracy and substance.

  • Facilitate discussion, answer questions, and make participation accessible.

  • Respond thoughtfully to disclosures, distress, disagreement, and harmful comments, while maintaining appropriate boundaries.

  • Use participant feedback to strengthen your teaching.

  • Represent EndTAB with warmth, credibility, curiosity, and professionalism.

Accuracy matters. Participants may use what they learn to support people experiencing harm, assess accountability, and develop policies affecting real lives.

Some engagements involve multi-hour or full-day programs totaling six to seven hours of instruction, with scheduled breaks. In-person delivery typically involves extended standing and movement in varied venues. EndTAB considers reasonable accommodations individually to support performance of essential functions.

(2) Build client and partner relationships.

After onboarding, you’ll independently meet with clients, understand their goals, recommend training options, and coordinate preparation and follow-up with our team. You’ll maintain existing relationships and help cultivate new opportunities, with meaningful ownership and team support.

(3) Keep our content current.

You’ll follow relevant research and technology developments, update assigned materials, and distinguish meaningful changes from speculation and hype. Over time, you’ll have opportunities to develop original trainings and contribute to our newsletter or podcast. Other writing and social media opportunities are optional, based on your interests.

Your Background

Required qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience in education, training, facilitation, professional development, or a related field.

  • Experience in gender-based or sexual violence prevention, survivor services, or healthy relationships education.

  • Experience working in higher education, nonprofits, or government agencies.

  • A demonstrated commitment to survivor advocacy, equity, trauma-informed practice, harm reduction, and sex positivity.

  • Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills, virtually and in person, and strong writing skills.

  • The ability to explain complex information to nontechnical audiences and apply conceptual, creative, and critical thinking.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Availability for overnight travel on up to three work trips per month.

  • A bachelor’s degree. Graduate education is valuable but not required.

We also welcome experience in client relationships, community outreach, advocacy, legal services, mental health, social work, public health, sex education, technology safety, research, or curriculum development.

Fluency in Spanish would also be a valuable asset!

Technology Literacy and AI

You don’t need coding or AI development experience. You do need curiosity about technology and an ability to connect new developments to people’s lives.

We’re looking for a nuanced, evidence-informed approach to AI’s benefits, limitations, risks, and harms. You should also be comfortable using AI for appropriate work tasks, with attention to accuracy, privacy, and sensitive information.

Schedule & Travel

Working hours are flexible and not tied to one time zone. You’ll manage your time around deadlines, scheduled engagements, and team coordination. We value healthy work-life balance and thoughtful workload planning.

  • Travel cap: Travel will begin after onboarding is complete and will increase gradually over the course of your first year. Three work trips per month is a firm maximum. Frequent virtual trainings are an additional, ongoing responsibility. We’ll review travel expectations together at the end of that year to determine if adjustments are needed.

  • Typical trips: One full presentation day plus two travel days, with more travel in spring and fall.

  • Scheduling: You’ll help shape your schedule when client timelines allow; some engagements have fixed dates. We plan ahead and will discuss expectations during interviews.

  • Expenses: EndTAB covers all work-related travel costs and will work with you on payment and reimbursement arrangements that fit your circumstances.

Show Us How You Think and Teach

Submit a 2 to 3 minute video about a recent development involving a specific technology, platform, app, or AI application with implications for gender-based violence, human relationships, or mental health.

Explain:

  • What is it, and what is changing?

  • What could it mean for people’s lives?

  • Why should we care?

Focus on a particular tool, feature, or use, with concrete examples. No polished production or slide deck is needed. We want to see how you make sense of information and engage an audience.

Upload your video to YouTube as an unlisted video or use another accessible video hosting platform. Include a link we can open without requesting access. Keep your video under three minutes; it does not need to be public.

EndTAB provides reasonable accommodations during the application and interview process. To request an accommodation or alternative submission method, contact support@endtab.org. Please do not include medical information in your application.

How to Apply

Complete the application here.

As part of the application, you will be asked these two questions:

(1) Tell us why you'd be an excellent fit for this position. How do your passions align with this role? What would you like to bring to our team? How do you hope to grow during your time at EndTAB?

(2) Tell us about a time you truly connected with someone while teaching or facilitating a program. How did it happen? What lessons did you learn from that moment? How did it change you professionally?

Apply by October 30, 2026, at 10:00 PM Pacific.
